A blend of Muscat Ottonel and Merlot, fortified with spirits distilled from Hillside grapes. Rich, nutty and bright floral aromas lead into a luscious palate in our rosé fortified wine.
About this wine
Our old vines Muscat Ottonel produces beautiful aromas and flavours that cry out to be preserved. Barrel-aged spirit distilled from Hillside wine is added to halt the fermentation in an older French oak barrel. Aging over 20 months integrated the spirit and fruit profiles beautifully, and a bit of fortified merlot adds a fun twist. The sweetness level is 6.5, or 65 g/l of residual sugar.
