The 2010 growing season was a late starter.  Lower than normal heat throughout the summer has 2010 going down in the record books as the 2nd coldest in recent history.  An exceptionally mild October, however, allowed for very long hang time.  The wines had lower than normal alcohol levels, but intense bright fruit. Barrel matured for 14 months in small French oak (31% new).
